How can a community tap into the talent and passion of its best and brightest citizens … to grow the economy? The goal of this year-long program is to help Oxnard advance its economic development “ecosystem,” empowering this city to quickly adapt to changing technologies and grow economically. We will hold quarterly web-based gatherings, exploring a new area of technology each time, to give leaders the opportunity to connect, build new relationships, and pursue specific proposals.

4) Marine Applications (August 4 - 5, 2021)

We will begin by recruiting up to 200 of our best and brightest citizens to attend — buyers, entrepreneurs, investors, technical experts and civic leaders. Using web video and break out rooms, we will then provide a series of presentations from experts, and engage small groups in a focused discussion about the applications and opportunities for Oxnard.
